Download the Goodyear Widget
Goodyear's Desktop Widget tool allows useful online information including the weather forecast, time, foreign exchange rate and latest Goodyear news to be automatically updated and displayed directly on your computer giving you handy access to this information from one convenient location.

If you are running an older version of the Goodyear Widget, we highly recommend you update.
Windows Instructions
- Click the download link and save to your desktop.
- Double click “goodyear_widget_1.1.0.exe” to start installation and follow instructions.
How to use your widget
The information the widget displays can easily be changed to better suit your needs. Click on Settings to enter the Settings menu.
Once you have finished adjusting your widget’s settings simply click Back to change to the new settings.
To change your weather location:
- Once in the Settings menu select Change Weather.
- Type in the location of your choice in the search button and select Search.
- Choose your desired location from the drop down box.
- Click Back to view the widget using your updated settings.
To change your foreign exchange currencies:
There is a base currency (by default South African Rands), which the other three currencies are converted into. The base currency is not displayed on the front of the widget.
- Once in the Settings menu select Change Currency.
- To change your base currency, select a new currency from the drop down box at the top.
- To change one of the other currencies, simply select the desired foreign currencies in the 3 drop down boxes provided.
- Click Back to view the widget using your updated settings.
