Richard Filiczkowski – 2007 USA Highway Hero

Richard saw a car cross four lanes of traffic and careen into a pond. He stopped his truck on the road shoulder, jumped into the icy water to rescue a 9 year old girl trapped in the sinking car.

Edward A. Regener – 2006 USA Highway Hero

Edward A. Regener escaped one fire and jumped into another to save the lives of two men trapped in their burning car. To make matter worse, his twin trailers contained hazardous materials.

Douglas Crawford – 2005 USA Highway Hero

Douglas helped save the life of a fellow driver when an 18-wheeler collided with a tractor-trailor. Both trucks exploded into flames. Crawford was able to pull the victim out of the burning truck.

Rick Dent – 2004 USA Highway Hero

Rick, A Texas truck driver, came to the aid of Bob Strickland and his two small children, when Strickland's car swerved to miss a deer and landed in a water-filled ditch.
